Reception

The staff are here to help you. They have a difficult job to do with telephone calls and enquiries so please be a patient ….. patient. When you telephone for Medical attention the receptionist may ask for a few details. They have been trained to make these enquires so that we can help you in the most appropriate way. If you want to ask re test results or general queries please telephone after 11.30 am. Please do not ask the receptionist for medical advice as they are not qualified to give this information.

Community Midwives

The community midwife works with the doctors to provide care for the expectant mother before and after delivery. Antenatal clinics are held every Tuesday between 8.30 - 1.00pm.

Health Visitors

Please look in your red book for your health visitor number, or pop into the surgery and the receptionist will give you the correct number for the health visitor assigned to your area.

Attached Staff

The health trainer holds a session on a Wednesday afternoon and can give advice re: diet, lifestyle advice, sexual health and BP readings. Please ask at reception for more information.

Children between 10-16 years who have not previously received MMR vaccination or who have received only one dose please make an appointment with the practice nurse to have your MMR vaccinations.
